Sha’kheti are jackal-headed Celeshu with unnaturally long limbs that bend in unsettling and counterintuitive ways. They move with equal ease on two legs or four, shifting between stances with a fluid, predatory grace that can be slightly intimidating to unaccustomed onlookers. They are Fey by nature but tend to express more of the dark, mysterious, and cunning aspects of Feykind than mischievousness and capriciousness. Sha’kheti have deeply rooted feelings of isolation, which may be due to the Ordatu being cut off from the Feywild (see Chapter 8, Creature Types in Keshanar).
Sha’kheti can live upwards of 300 years and reach maturity around the same time as Humans. They share many physical traits commonly associated with Anubis and even some mannerisms, such as his patience and stillness, but their Fey nature often sets them apart from his persistent stoicism.
