Silver Coins of Keshanar: 1 Lunaat
Upon gazing at these silver pieces, one might thing that they are stolen from the treasury of Ra-Solari himself, however, I can assure you they were made here and not on Orthane. Although you wouldn't know the difference frankly. Bringing these coins from Keshanar to our reality was an adventure!
The process started with a 3D coin design file which was produced by Carrie Lee, our premier 3D sculptor, using the art of lead illustrator Joze Groselj. Then Bryan Turner was able to produce a brass master on his CMC machine. From there, his wife and amazing jewelry maker, Elena Turner made wax castings with hand made defects and patina. For all intents and purposes, we gated a bag of Lunaats to Hillsborough, NC! I wanted the coins to show the wear and tear of the journey of a few thousand years trough Keshanar.
Every coin is individually cast in silver, finished by hand, and given an aged, weathered character worthy of something that has been passed around the Kingdom for a few millennia. Slight variations in shape, surface, and detail are part of the process, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
These are not mass-produced replicas. They are small, handmade pieces of Keshanar, forged in silver and made to feel as though they have already survived a thousand years of history.
