The Sobekiren are a species of Celeshu bearing the leathery skin, heads, and interlocking teeth of river crocodiles. Their lineage is closely associated with Sobek, the Keshen god of fertility and crocodiles. Sobekiren mature faster than Humans, reaching adulthood at 14 years of age, and tend to live to around 80 years. Sobekiren are 6 to 7 feet tall and weigh between 200 and 450 pounds. They tend to avoid larger cities and prefer to live in rural communities along the banks of the Tefnut and Andra Rivers due to their territorial nature, although they often visit the Garden Cauldera of Keshanar City by the Sobek River tributary of the Tefnut, also the site of the Shrine of Sobek. Rumor tells of a much larger underground temple to Sobek accessible only through a secret, closely guarded underwater entrance somewhere along the swiftly moving Sobek River.
